Sunday Services
In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Our main Sunday service is the 10am Parish Choral Mass

The Sunday 10am Parish Mass is a joyful and reverent celebration of the Eucharist with two key parts:
-
the Liturgy of the Word in which we hear the living word of God proclaimed in the scriptures, particularly the Gospel. A sermon is preached connecting God's words to the concerns of our hearts, lives, and the world. We recite the ancient summary and symbol of the Christian faith in the Nicene Creed and respond with prayers of intercession for the church, the world, those in need, and the dead;
-
the Liturgy of the Sacrament in which we adore, receive, and are nourished and transformed by the real presence of Jesus in the bread and wine that are his Body and Blood and brought deeper into communion with God and each other. Our worship is enriched by congregational singing, led by our choir which draws on the rich heritage of the Anglican choral tradition.

During term time, as part of the main 10am Sunday service, we run a children's church called the J-team (Jesus team). Children are welcome to join the J-Team in the church centre for their own service, story, crafts, and activities led by our Youth Worker and a team of volunteers. There are three separate groups: for toddlers up to the age of 7, older children, and teenagers.

Every third Sunday in term time, we hold a more interactive All Age Eucharist in which the children stay in church for the main service and take an active part by reading, leading prayers, taking up the offerings and serving.

Every other month, one of our Sunday service includes the sacramental Ministry of Healing with the Laying On Of Hands and Anointing With Oil lead by our healing ministry team of volunteers and retired clergy.
