If you live in the parish of Whyke and Portfield, you have a right to a funeral service in St George's, whatever your faith, as part of the Church of England's ministry to every community.
 
In the sacred space of the church, we will celebrate and give thanks for the life of your loved one, and offer prayers of hope and comfort.

Fr Angus will take time to get to know you, and to plan a service which is full of music, readings and tributes by all who wish to speak.
​
The service can last as long as you wish, giving everyone a chance to begin to share their memories and offer comfort to each other.
 
Fr Angus is also able to take services at the crematorium or at cemeteries and burial grounds.
