St George's Scarecrow Contest

All are welcome to be part of our scarecrow building competition! Enter individually, as a family or team up with friends and colleagues or your youth group.

Doors open at 9am, with scarecrow building from 9.30am to 10.30am. Winners announced at 11:30am.

Booking in advance is required.

There will be a £5 entry fee per scarecrow, payable on the day at St George's.

Instructions:

You will be provided with the bare skeleton of your scarecrow - a weighted bucket with a wooden upright and a wooden cross section for building arms on. You'll also be provided with newspaper to help make the shape of your body and a paper bag you can use for your head.
