Holy Week and Easter Services

All are welcome to join us for our Holy Week and Easter services as we celebrate the joy of the victory of God's love over death and the powers of darkness in the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

PALM SUNDAY: Sunday 13 APRIL 10am

Beginning in the Amphitheatre with a procession to church, palm crosses and a dramatised reading of the Passion of St Luke

 

HOLY WEEK MASSES: Monday-Wednesday 14-16 APRIL 6pm

Evening said Mass in the Lady Chapel with a short homily

 

MAUNDY THURSDAY: Thursday 17 APRIL 7.30pm

The Triduum, the holiest part of the Christian year, begins with the Mass of the Lord's Supper. The watch in the Lady Chapel follows until midnight

 

GOOD FRIDAY: Friday 18 APRIL

10:00am Good Friday Children's Activities

Children of all ages and their families are welcome as we follow Jesus as he walks the way of love and build an Easter garden together

2:00pm Solemn Liturgy of the Cross

The Triduum continues with a dramatic reading of the Passion of St John and the veneration of the Cross

​

HOLY SATURDAY Saturday 19 APRIL 6:30pm

The Triduum comes to completion on this most holy of nights  when light shines in the darkness with the Easter proclamation. Followed by an Easter barbeque feast and activities for children.

 

EASTER DAY: Sunday 20 APRIL 10.00am

All are welcome to celebrate the joy of Christ's resurrection. There will be an Easter Egg hunt too for children
